Since the beginning of the second age of Internet – commonly known as Web 2.0 – designers from all over the world and at different levels of expertise have begun to offer their view on this field. From general discussions to small tips, arriving at today’s video tutorials, designers have eventually created huge communities based on resource sharing. Everybody is greatly benefiting from it.
Before the rise of the World Wide Web, I clearly remember how insane was considered to give away technical knowledge for free. Times have changed, and I could not be happier. Today, an aspiring designer can go from beginner to proficient in a relative short amount of time. I myself am a child of this digital revolution. The web is much more than a precious source of tricks for Photoshop; Internet is the container of a plethora of designers explaining you how they interpret their job. And – surprisingly – almost every opinion seems to be the right one. Because in Design, like in life, every experience is valuable.
I have been around for a while now, and I would like to show my view. I am neither better nor worst than you reading my article; but I have ideas and I want to share them with you.
